Lauren Iida is a Japanese American artist known for her intricate hand-cut paper artwork. Her work explores themes of memory, identity, family history, and the Japanese American experience. She often draws inspiration from historical photographs and stories, including those connected to the incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II. Through her art, Iida preserves personal and cultural histories while connecting them to the present.

Judy Tzu-Chun Wu is a historian and professor at the University of California, Irvine, specializing in Asian American history. Her research focuses on race, immigration, gender, activism, and the experiences of Asian Americans in the United States. She has written extensively about Asian American women and political figures, including Patsy Takemoto Mink, the first woman of color elected to Congress. Through her teaching and research, Wu works to preserve Asian American histories and bring greater attention to communities that have often been overlooked.

Sharon Mizota is a Los Angeles-based art critic, writer, researcher, and metadata consultant. She has written extensively about contemporary art and Asian American artists for publications including the Los Angeles Times, Artforum, and Hyperallergic. She is also the coauthor of Fresh Talk/Daring Gazes: Conversations on Asian American Art, an award-winning book focused on Asian American art. Through her writing and research, Mizota works to make art, archives, and cultural histories more inclusive and representative.

Ana Iwataki is a Los Angeles-based writer, curator, cultural historian, and community organizer. Her work focuses on the connections between art, memory, place, and Japanese American cultural history. She has organized exhibitions and projects that highlight Asian American artists and communities, particularly in Los Angeles. Iwataki currently serves as Associate Curator of Art at the Japanese American National Museum and has also conducted research on Japanese American artists in Downtown Los Angeles.

Francis Cullado is the Executive Director of Visual Communications, a Los Angeles-based organization that supports Asian American and Pacific Islander filmmakers and media artists. Born in the Philippines and raised in Long Beach, he has worked with Visual Communications since beginning there as an intern in 2002. His work focuses on strengthening AAPI storytelling, cultural arts, and community representation through film and media. Cullado also holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Asian American Studies from California State University, Long Beach.

Christopher T. Fan is an associate professor at the University of California, Irvine, specializing in English, Asian American Studies, and East Asian Studies. His research focuses on Asian American literature, race, political economy, and the connections between the United States and Asia. He is the author of Asian American Fiction After 1965: Transnational Fantasies of Economic Mobility, which examines Asian American literature through questions of race, class, immigration, and economic mobility. Fan is also a cofounder and senior editor of Hyphen, a magazine focused on Asian American culture, politics, and identity.
